Pioneer Tad SpeakersClick to expand.Compared to the Aerial 20T I currently have the TADs have a much greater transparency as a matter of fact they have the best transparency I have ever heard. Everything in the recording chain is laid bare BUT in an organic and of one whole sound. It's like nothing I have ever heard percussion that can dominate on other speakers are perfectly tucked into the soundstage. Voices are truly amazing you get little details and inflection, breaths that others gloss over but instead of being cold or sterile one can tell it's coming from a living, breathing human being. The soundstage in our room is vast IF on the recording. Miles from Miles Live Around the World has a couple tracks where the soundstage is wall to wall and floor to ceiling; jaw dropping stuff this. Bass is low, I get good output down to 26 in my room, but a little tighter than people not used to what live low frequency instruments sound like might be used to.
